Do I Even Qualify for Services at Choices Pregnancy Center?

The short answer to “Do I qualify for Choices’ services?” is YES!

Want to be sure? Let's look at some FAQs we hear from others just like you.

What if I don’t live in Redwood Falls?

You can still work with us. Of course, you’ll need to be present in our office for medical services like pregnancy testing or early-pregnancy ultrasound. However, other services we offer, like our educational program, Earn While You Learn, can be done remotely. We can provide links to online classes right on your phone, if you like. And if you want to use your “baby bucks” you’ll want to come in to our Boutique to pick out the baby or maternity items you want.

The point is, you don’t have to be a resident of Redwood Falls or even Redwood County to work with Choices Pregnancy Center. Just close enough to take advantage of all the services you need.

Who qualifies to be a client at Choices Pregnancy Center?

What if I make too much money?

Your income is not a factor in whether we can serve you. All our services are free. To everyone. Regardless of income level. In this way, we’re not like the community services that only serve people with low incomes or those that only serve people who can afford them. Our generous supporters help us provide all our services at no cost to anyone who wants them.

What if I don’t believe in a certain religion?

Whatever you believe, you are welcome here. This is not a place to force religion down anyone’s throat. We believe you deserve to hear the truth spoken in love. Whether that’s medical truth about your pregnancy status, complete facts about all your options, or mentoring on your relationship questions. We approach each person as unique, worthy of compassion and understanding. We listen to you.

Everyone is on their own faith journey. We get that. So we’ll only share our journeys with you if you ask. You won’t be pressured to believe anything or conform to any values you don’t share.

What if I’ve already had my baby?

We are here to support parents during and after pregnancy. Some of our services are specifically for parents of children up to one year of age. Others are for individuals who wish to develop healthy relationships without the risk of unexpected pregnancy. Check out all our services here.

What if I’m a guy? Aren’t you just for women?

Men are welcome. You can participate in your partner’s ultrasound appointment, be part of the options consultation process, and attend classes on pregnancy and parenting, for example. We also offer some men-only fatherhood training you might be interested in.

Okay, I’m coming in!

Great! We recommend calling ahead for an appointment, at 507-637-2534. We are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Our nurse is usually available for pregnancy testing and ultrasounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but other arrangements can be made.

We look forward to serving you soon!
